The Armory Project is a nonprofit initiative focused on firearm suicide prevention through voluntary, temporary firearm storage. Rather than advocating restrictions on firearm ownership, the program works with the firearms community—including gun stores, shooting ranges, FFLs, instructors, veterans, and military organizations—to provide trusted options for firearm owners during times of personal crisis.
The Armory Project (TAP) is designed to be a voluntary, temporary firearm storage network that connects firearm owners with trusted FFLs, shooting ranges, and other partners when they want to store their firearms outside the home for a period of time. The program is intended to provide an additional safety option while respecting lawful firearm ownership.
